Only our windows embrace enviromental concerns without compromising architectural design, function or durability

Our fiberglass exteriors are made using advanced pultrusion technology which allows continuous lengths of fibrous glass that are saturated with special resin compounds to be
pulled through a heated steel-forming die. This process creates such a remarkably strong and durable material that only specially-made diamond encrusted cutters can be used to slice through it.

Weather Shield's unique finishing process bonds a thick acrylic finish onto the cladding's virtually indestructible surface for rich, vibrant color that resists scratches, marring and dings.

Fiberglass-Clad Wood Windows Key Features:

The fiberglass exterior sash and frame make
our windows one of the most durable and energy efficient windows manufactured today. The fiberglass is scratch and dent resistant and won't warp or become brittle in extreme climates. And because it does not rot or corrode, it is an ideal solution for coastal applications.
EasyCare glass is an additional, invisible, permanent
coating of Titanium Dioxide that reacts chemically with the sun’s UV rays, causing organic materials that are on the glass to decompose. When it rains, the decomposed dirt washes away, the water spreads out and evaporates quickly for fewer spots and easier cleaning.
Exteriors feature low-maintenance, heavy-duty mat and roving fiberglass cladding that is structurally superior to metal or vinyl materials found on many other brands of windows. Corners are completely sealed with a corner key and adhesive
for increased strength and stability.
Our unique Real Warm Edge Flexible Spacer between the panes of glass insulates the edge of the glass better to help improve thermal performance and reduce condensation.
The heavy-duty fiberglass exterior frame features a rigid integral nailing fin for greater structural integrity and easier installation.
A superior weather strip design on casement units
features a full-length, foam-filled, bulb-type weather stripping around the frame perimeter with no corner joints, providing greater protection against air and water infiltration. An additional woven pile weather stripping surrounds the sash.
An airspace provides insulating power from summer heat and winter cold. Along with Low E2 coatings, adding safe, colorless argon gas to the airspace increases the window unit’s energy efficiency.
